Alábbiakban a könyvek ismertetését angolul adjuk, hiszen e nyelvvel barátságban lévők a lehetséges olvasóközönség.
2013.:
Mechanics of Wood Machining (A fa gépi megmunkálásának mechanikája) Authors: Csanády, Etele, Magoss, Endre. Presents a comprehensive summary of the mechanics of wood processing. This new textbook on the "Mechanics of Wood Machining" combines the quantitative, mathematical analysis of the mechanisms of wood processing with practical recommendations and solutions. Bringing together materials from many sources, the book contains new theoretical and experimental approaches and offers a clear and systematic overview of the theory of wood cutting, thermal loading in wood-cutting tools, dynamic behaviour of tool and work piece, optimum choice of operational parameters and energy consumption, the wear process of the tools, and the general regularities of wood surface roughness. Diagrams are provided for the quick estimation of various process parameters. This book will be useful for scientists, graduate and postgraduate students, and practising engineers seeking a deeper understanding of physical phenomena associated with real woodworking processes.
2015.:
Quality of Machined Wood Surfaces (A géppel megmunkált fa felületének minősége) Authors: Csanády, Etele, Magoss, Endre, Tolvaj, László. Provides a comprehensive and detailed account of the surface quality of machined wood. The purpose of this monograph is to characterize and describe the quality of machined wood surfaces, whereas particular attention is given to the utility and to aesthetical values in product design. The approach employed by the authors involves an introductory overview and is then organized in three parts: first, the book deals with factors influencing surface stability, the second part describes the color and gloss properties of wood surfaces with many practical applications, and the third part covers roughness properties of surfaces related to machining. This is a highly informative and carefully presented book, providing valuable insight for both research experts and practitioners with an interest in machined wood surfaces.
2019.:
Optimum Design and Manufacture of Wood Products (Fatermékek optimális designja és gyártása.) Authors: Csanády, E., Kovács, Z., Magoss, E., Ratnasingam, J. Provides numerous worked examples. This monograph presents state-of-the-art knowledge in wood manufacturing design with a special focus on the elaboration of functional relationships. The authors transfer and apply the method of functional relationships to challenges in wood manufacturing, and the book contains many worked examples which help the reader to better understand the presented method. The topical spectrum includes machining processes, energy consumption, surface quality, hardness and durability properties as well as aesthetical properties. The target audience primarily comprises research experts and practitioners in wood manufacturing, but the book may also be beneficial for graduate students alike.
2019.:
Theory and Practice of Wood Pellet Production (A fapellet gyártás elmélete és gyakorlata) Authors: Kocsis, Zoltán, Csanády, Etele. Written for undergraduate and post-graduate students. In the agriculture, forestry, the primary and secondary wood working industry there are considerable resources of raw materials which can only be used in a rational manner for energetic purposes. Due to requirements from the users. one of the most retinal way of utilization is to make pellets with high density and specific energy content. Making pellets of 6-8 mm diameter, their utilization in furnaces allows an almost fully automated operation with high thermal efficiency. This book describes both the theoretical and practical aspects of pellet production including material requirements and preparation, pressing technologies, quality requirements, burning properties, investments and the overall economy of pellet production.
