Faipari szakkönyvek angolul - Soproni Egyetem magyar szerzői

Idén két új angol nyelvű könyvük jelent meg a világon jól ismert Springer kiadónál. Így már négy könyvük forog a szakmai világ kezében. Csanády Etele, Magoss Endre, Tolvaj László, Kovács Zsolt, Kocsis Zoltán és Ratnasingam J. a könyvek szerzői különböző összeállításban. Valamennyi könyv lektora a még mindig aktív Dr Prof. Sitkei György DSc. akadémikus úr.

2013-ban A fa gépi megmunkálásának mechanikája, 2015-ben A géppel megmunkált fa felületének minősége után 2019-ban egyszerre két könyv is megjelent a Soproni Egyetem szerzőitől a Springer Kiadóvállalatnál: Fatermékek optimális tervezése és gyártása és A fapellet gyártás elmélete és gyakorlata. A könyvek angolul jelentek meg, magyar változatuk nincs. Olvasóközönségük az egész világ faiparosai, és e szakterület kutatói. A könyvek sikerét már az első könyv nagyszámú (11.000) e-letöltése is jelzi.

Alábbiakban a könyvek ismertetését angolul adjuk, hiszen e nyelvvel barátságban lévők a lehetséges olvasóközönség.

2013.:

Mechanics of Wood Machining (A fa gépi megmunkálásának mechanikája)

The topical spectrum includes machining processes, energy consumption, surface quality, hardness and durability properties as well as aesthetical properties. The target audience primarily comprises research experts and practitioners in wood manufacturing, but the book may also be beneficial for graduate students alike.

Theory and Practice of Wood Pellet Production (A fapellet gyártás elmélete és gyakorlata)

In the agriculture, forestry, the primary and secondary wood working industry there are considerable resources of raw materials which can only be used in a rational manner for energetic purposes. Due to requirements from the users. one of the most retinal way of utilization is to make pellets with high density and specific energy content. Making pellets of 6-8 mm diameter, their utilization in furnaces allows an almost fully automated operation with high thermal efficiency. This book describes both the theoretical and practical aspects of pellet production including material requirements and preparation, pressing  technologies, quality requirements, burning properties, investments and the overall economy of pellet production.
